The team at Eventrics Weddings has specialized in Indian and Fusion Weddings for the last eight years. During this time, they have been awarded "Best of Weddings" by The Knot for eight years in a row and additionally have been awarded "Hall of Fame" by the Knot and Luxury Travel Guide's "Wedding Planner of the year". Their vision for creating once-in-a-lifetime experiences and their unmatched attention to detail has set them apart and helped secure their spot as an industry leader within their niche market.

When Brittany Ellis acquired Eventrics Weddings, she knew it had unlimited potential. Knowing the industry inside and out, she had already built quite the reputation for herself within the Indian & Fusion wedding community. Her objective was to set her new company apart from its previous parent company, Eventrics, by establishing its own brand that appeals to the target audience.

The Approach

The gold and purple color palette had already been incorporated into the previous branding under the Eventrics umbrella. She wanted to carry those forward into the new brand, in part because of the cultural significance, but also because they stand out against the sea of pastels that dominate the wedding industry landscape. We refined the colors and pulled out lighter tones to use as accents and keep the look and feel soft and elegant.

The script typeface used in the new logo channels the posh designs of the weddings, while the sans-serif typeface underneath represents the structure and organization that together form the bedrock of Eventrics Weddings.

When I designed the branded stationery, I wanted them to look and feel luxurious, while conveying a sense of confidence and thoughtful attention to detail. They truly felt luxurious thanks to the velvety-smooth soft-touch paper treatment. The gold foil on the logomark is a luscious final touch, representing traditional gold wedding rings and the couples' eternal love.

My approach to creating the printed booklet, pricing guides, and contracts was straight-forward; highlight the beautiful wedding imagery with simple, yet elegant, brand elements. The services Eventrics Weddings offers are entirely focused around the soon-to-be-married couple, and I wanted the pieces to reflect that sentiment as the couples interacted with them. The pieces are meant to evoke intense positive emotion as the couple imagines themselves within the dream-like wedding-scapes.
